Another leg completed
On 13 November, 12 people completed the last leg of the second circuit. A brisk southerly eased off as we headed around the harbour. Six of us set out from Petone, rendezvousing with another six or so people at Point Howard, arriving at a sunny Days bay in a mix of sit on and sit in kayaks. Some of us took a rather relaxed approach to the paddling!

First circuit complete!
The Take Risks Be Kind Kayaking trip completed the third leg on Sunday, with people sharing a variety of disabilities in 11 kayaks. We enjoyed a strong tailwind on the 10km run from Petone Beach to Days Bay. Thanks to Neil for excellent organisation, Nigel's sage advice, and to the partner who welcomed us with delicious muffins!
